This project was located in Walker, MN.  This contract is Phase 1 of a multi phase reconstruction of the Administrative site in Walker, MN. We demolished 3 buildings including asbestos and lead based paint removal. Existing underground utility lines were abandoned or removed dependant on designation and above ground fixtures were removed.

We constructed new sewer lines, manholes, water lines, hydrants, valves and appurtenances including connections to existing buildings. We installed new underground fiber optics telecommunications conduits and lines along with new buried electrical service to both existing and future building locations. We installed new structural retaining wall systems and constructed new on-site access road. We constructed a new foundation and moved an existing office building from one location on the site to another. Overall site grading was performed and site was restored to “Park” conditions.

 This project was completed while open to the public and Forest Service Staff employed at this location. Special attention had been placed on the scheduling of work activities to minimize disruption to Government employees.
